Fluorination Reaction
Continuous Experiment of F₂ Fluorination
1. Applying system back pressure and compressing gas to optimize the gas-liquid volume ratio;
2. Using a microbubble mixer to enhance gas-liquid mass transfer efficiency;
3. Designing heat exchange for all pipelines.
Safety Issues of Traditional Processes
1. Extremely toxic and corrosive raw materials, posing severe safety hazards;
2. Easy corrosion of equipment leading to high operating costs;
3. Difficult treatment of hazardous waste and high accident rate.
Reagents for Fluorination Reactions
1. Fluorinating reagents: Generally can be prepared into solutions, easy to use, and the technical improvement for continuous processing is relatively simple;
2. F₂: Highly corrosive with low concentration (containing >85% N₂), inconvenient to use, and the technical improvement for continuous processing is relatively difficult.
Characteristics of Microbubble Mixer
Two channels (gas and liquid), micro-pore size limitation, fluid shearing, pressure-induced dissolution.
